Day, a time to celebrate the tireless work done by labs and hospitals across the globe in an effort to eliminate this devastating disease. Through increased education and refined AFB diagnostics, improved treatment and ultimately better patient care, we’ve been making a difference. Between 2000 and 2016, fifty-three million lives were saved through effective
diagnosis and treatment. Although we still have a long way to go to eradicate TB, this progress is something to celebrate.
